Terms

Draft for review. A lawyer has not reviewed this text yet and it may change before public launch.

1. What Skillora is

Skillora is an online marketplace that helps people find nearby service providers, message them and request bookings. Providers are independent. They are not employed by Skillora and Skillora does not provide the services itself.

Skillora is in an early test phase. Features can change and data may be reset during testing.

2. Payments

Skillora helps customers and service providers connect and arrange services. Payments are agreed upon and handled directly between the customer and provider. Skillora does not collect, process, or guarantee payments.

3. Accounts

You need an account to message, book or offer services. Give correct information, keep your password private, and use one account per person. You can delete your account in the account settings.

4. Providers

  • You set your own prices and decide which requests to accept.
  • You are responsible for being allowed to offer your service where you work (for example any registration, qualification or permit the law requires for it), and for your own taxes.
  • Skillora does not check licences or qualifications. A listing on Skillora is not a certificate of any kind.
  • Some kinds of services may not be offered until Skillora has completed a review for them.

5. Behaviour

Do not offer or request anything illegal, do not harass or deceive others, and do not post false or misleading information. Never agree to pay in advance to someone you do not trust. Use the report button on a profile or in a chat if something seems wrong. Skillora may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules and may keep a record of why.

6. Liability, consumer rights, governing law

[To be completed after legal review.]
